Liberal Nationals delivering for Carrum Downs CFA

Carrum Downs CFA has increased their call outs to local incidents each year as the population grows.

That’s why a Liberal Nationals Government will deliver Carrum Downs CFA a new medium pumper.

Given the dramatic urban growth in Carrum Downs, the local community will be serviced with a newer, more reliable vehicle and will greatly assist the Brigade getting to your home in an emergency.

It is important the Brigade and its volunteers have the best vehicles to assist them in protecting the growing community and unlike Labor, the Liberal Nationals will always protect those who protect us.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Emergency Services, Brad Battin:

“Daniel Andrews has been so busy fighting a war with CFA volunteers that communities like Carrum Downs have suffered.

The credit for this funding belongs to the local community and Donna Bauer who have worked together and made the case for this project so they can provide the best for our hard working volunteers.”

Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Carrum, Donna Bauer:

“It is vital that the Carrum community has the resources it needs to fight fires and protect our communities when we need help the most and this new pumper will provide that.

The current facilities here in Carrum Downs are no longer acceptable for a station that attended 470 call outs alone in 2017 and are in desperate need of a new vehicle.

When I’m out in the community I continually hear from CFA volunteers that they need this new pumper and today I can say a Liberal Nationals Government will deliver it.”
