Clark: Minister for Industrial Relations

Tuesday 11 October 2016

Minister for Industrial Relations

The Minister for Industrial Relations, Ms Natalie Hutchins, this morning criticised the Federal Government’s legislation to protect volunteers claiming there are holes in it.

This is the same minister who in June was forced into a humiliating back down after misrepresenting and verballing Fair Work Commission president Iain Ross.  The minister was also criticised for a lack of professionalism in approaching Justice Ross directly.

This is also the same Industrial Relations Minister who urged on attacks on CUB in an industrial dispute instead of seeking to get the dispute resolved in accordance with the law.

The Minister for Industrial Relations has consistently demonstrated a lack of judgment and knowledge in her portfolio.
