Crozier: Respectful Relationships Curriculum

Respectful Relationships Curriculum

Everyone agrees that schools should be places where children respect one another and their individuality, regardless of gender, appearance, sexuality, religion and ethnicity.

We should have a zero tolerance approach to any bullying in schools. Every student deserves an education in an environment free of intimidation so they can focus on making the most of their opportunities.

But Daniel Andrews’ Respectful Relationships program is another example where instead of learning key skills like how to read and write, Victorian children as young as six will be learning radical gender theory.

The latest NAPLAN results shows that despite record funding of billions of dollars, Victorian children are going backwards.

Daniel Andrews and James Merlino seem more interested in playing politics and forcing their values on other people’s children than making sure Victorian schools teach kids to read and write.
