Bendigo misses out under Labor again
Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan have announced faster rail for Ballarat and Geelong.
But Bendigo misses out under Labor.
And to add insult to injury, not only does Bendigo miss out on faster rail but its residents will have to pay higher taxes so Geelong and Ballarat can get faster rail.
However, an elected Liberal Nationals Government will build High Speed Rail between Bendigo and Melbourne slashing travel times from a current 103 minutes to 70 minutes, a saving of 33 minutes.
On a roundtrip, that’s a time-saving of just over an hour every single day. Or in other words, for someone who commutes daily on this line, they will save more than 20 hours each month under Matthew Guy’s plan.
Reaching speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour, the Liberal Nationals plan for a High Speed Rail network will be the fastest in Australia.
It’s obvious that Jacinta Allan and Labor are treating Bendigo as safe Labor seats.
At next month’s election, Bendigo voters will be able to send Labor a message they won’t be treated like a safe Labor area anymore.
