150,000 added to Victoria’s population
Victoria’s population is growing faster than ever before, with population growth of almost 150,000 people in the last year.
Melbourne is being swamped with more than 125,000 new residents last year, while many rural areas are losing population.
Daniel Andrews has been caught without a plan to manage this overwhelming population growth, with traffic worsening every day, and no plan to protect our liveability.
Crime is out of control, and Victoria now has the highest unemployment rate in Australia.
A Liberal National Government will focus on decentralising population to our regions, helping to create jobs and liveable towns and cities in country Victoria.
For the sake of the future sustainability of our state we must focus on decentralising population growth.
Overwhelming population growth with no population plan will destroy our liveability. That’s the direction we are getting under Daniel Andrews.
Only the Liberals and Nationals will have a comprehensive population plan to manage and decentralise growth.
