Liberal Nationals pledge to keep traffic moving

The community of Carrum are again victims of poor planning from Daniel Andrews and Sonia Kilkenny.

The decision to close the level crossing at Eel Race Road by Daniel Andrews shows his utter contempt for motorists.

It is now clear to the Carrum community that Daniel Andrews had no intention of removing this level crossing; rather, the “solution” is to simply close the road.

Today, the Liberal Nationals pledge to reopen the road if elected.

Comments Attributable to Leader of the Opposition, Matthew Guy:

Donna Bauer is committed to listening to the people of Carrum, and will fight against this road closure.

The Carrum community needs a representative who will back them and support them, and Liberal candidate for Carrum, Donna Bauer, has already delivered.

Comments Attributable to Shadow Minister for Roads, Ryan Smith:

Daniel Andrews has no plan to fight traffic congestion in the south-east suburbs, instead he is limiting access to schools, parks and sporting grounds.

Donna has secured a guarantee that under a Matthew Guy led Liberal- Nationals Government, Eel Race Road will remain open. If Daniel Andrews closes the road, Matthew Guy and Donna Bauer will open it again.

Comments attributable to Liberal candidate for Carrum, Donna Bauer:

Ms Kilkenny seems to have no interest in supporting the people she is supposed to be representing, preferring to be an apologist for the Andrews Labor Government.

First there is Skyrail looking over residents’ backyards and now they are forcing motorists to battle traffic and add more congestion on local roads.
