Liberals to fund decades of overdue upgrades at Moorabbin Primary School

The Liberal Nationals are committed to investing in sporting facilities and classrooms in Victoria to ease the local population squeeze.

That’s why a Liberal Nationals Government have pledged $3.1 million to Moorabbin Primary School to build a new and modern school hall.

A new school hall will host school assemblies and provide a modern indoor facility for music, sport and the arts.

Moorabbin Primary School has been neglected by the Andrews Labor Government for far too long.

Labor has been in government in Victoria for 15 of the last 19 years, and its long-term neglect has meant this school has not kept up with local population growth.

The Liberal Nationals are committed to ensuring students have world class classrooms to learn and grow.

Comments attributable to Leader of the Opposition, Matthew Guy:

“Out of control population growth in Moorabbin is placing enormous pressure on our schools.

The Liberal Nationals have a plan to ease the population squeeze.

The students and families of Moorabbin Primary deserve modern facilities. Only the Liberal Nationals will make this happen at Moorabbin Primary.”

Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Bentleigh, Asher Judah:

“As a former student of Moorabbin Heights Primary School, I know what schools in Moorabbin looked like 35 years ago.

Moorabbin Primary School must be modernised. Local students deserve to go to a school which offers state of the art learning facilities.

My plan will ensure local children receive a top notch education in a dynamic learning environment.”
