Liberal Nationals show leadership on Uber
Shadow Minister for Public Transport David Hodgett met with Uber Melbourne GM, Matt Denman, at the company’s Richmond Office this morning to discuss the Coalition’s decision to support ride-sharing legislation currently before the Parliament.
Victoria is now the only state or territory in Australia not to make a decision on how to handle ridesharing services. This needs to change.
The Private Members Bill is expected to next be debated in the Legislative Council on Wednesday 22 June 2016.
