Daniel Andrews again refuses to rule out more new taxes
Daniel Andrews has today again refused to rule out more new taxes if he is re-elected.
At a doorstop in Maroona, the Premier was asked again to rule out more new Labor taxes. He failed.
This is the third time in as many months that Daniel Andrews or his Treasurer Tim Pallas have failed to rule out more new taxes.
Daniel Andrews’ tax plans are headlined by a tax on the family home of $435 per year, every year for 30 years – with no exemptions and no deferrals.
On the eve of the last election, in an interview with Channel 7, Daniel Andrews promised Victorians he wouldn’t introduce or increase any taxes. In the last four years, he’s broken that tax promise 12 times.
Daniel Andrews has lost control of cost of living pressures.
The last thing Victorians can afford is four more years of more Labor taxes that put more pressure on household budgets.
