77 schools could have been bought for Labor’s East West Link waste
While the Liberal Nationals welcome investment in education, it’s important to remember what we could have invested if Daniel Andrews hadn’t wasted $1.3 billion scrapping the East West Link.
At the last election, Daniel Andrews made the ideological decision to scrap the East West Link to save inner city seats from the Greens. This cost $1.3 billion and was a slap in the face to Victorian commuters condemned to years stuck in traffic.
By Labor’s own figures, the $1.3 billion Daniel Andrews threw away scrapping the East West Link could have bought land for 77 new schools.
Daniel Andrews’ waste is not only slowing down traffic, it’s costing additional schools, hospitals and police.
Waste and spin is all you get from Daniel Andrews.
