Liberal Nationals to upgrade Aspendale Gardens Primary School

The Liberal Nationals are committed to supporting great education facilities for all Victorian children. This support is both inside, and outside the classroom.

That’s why if elected in November this year, a Matthew Guy led Liberal Nationals Government will invest $250,000 towards the refurbishment of the Aspendale Gardens Primary School oval and outdoor play area.

The school’s oval has such high volumes of students during recess and lunch periods that it has struggled to grow grass. In winter it is virtually a mud heap and a dustbowl in summer.

Aspendale Gardens Primary School reflects the vibrant, ever-changing nature of education, equipping each student with the desire to be a lifelong learner and only a Liberal Nationals Government will give them the facilities they deserve.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:

“Aspendale Gardens Primary School has been overlooked by the Andrews Labor Government for this funding for far too long, and I’m pleased we can right this wrong.

The Liberal Nationals are committed to redeveloping Aspendale Gardens Primary School and give local students every chance they need to pursue a quality education.”

Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Mordialloc, Geoff Gledhill:

“Aspendale Gardens Primary School is a great school in a wonderful community and certainly deserves facilities which can be used and enjoyed every day by students.

I am delighted to be able to support the school through this important announcement.”
