Liberal Nationals to upgrade Parkhill Primary School
The Liberal Nationals are committed to investing in schools to ease the local population squeeze – as well as planning for schools’ future needs.
That’s why an elected Liberal Nationals Government will commit $4 million towards stage 2 of the master plan at Parkhill Primary School.
Our new announcement complements the $5 million commitment to Parkhill Primary School at the last election and the $15.5 million redevelopment of Ashwood High School by the former Liberal Nationals Government.
The Liberal Nationals will give parents a choice about their children’s education, by ensuring that there is modern infrastructure at our local schools.
Only the Liberal Nationals will get back in control of population growth and back Parkhill Primary School so that local students can get the very best education.
Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:
“Out of control population growth caused by the Andrews Labor Government’s lack of planning is placing enormous pressure on our schools.
The Liberal Nationals are committed to investing in schools to ease the local population squeeze.”
Comments attributable to Liberal Member for Burwood, Graham Watt:
“Parkhill Primary is a valuable part of our local community. It deserves more attention than it has received from this Government.
These classrooms will make a big difference to local students, teachers and families.”
