Liberals to fund upgrade of Caulfield Primary School

An elected Liberal Nationals Government will commit $200,000 towards much needed upgrades at Caulfield Primary School.

This project will fund urgent repairs and refurbishments to staff administration areas and the school’s prep building, including floor and tiling upgrades, window frame repairs, student sick bay improvements and disabled toilet upgrades.

With school buildings up to 140 years old and a rapidly growing enrolment, this funding will ensure Caulfield Primary School will be well positioned to continue to drive better student outcomes, including its unique Japanese bi-lingual program.

The Liberal Nationals are committed to improving the quality of our schools and ensuring students and staff have the resources they need to achieve better education outcomes.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:

“David Southwick and I have listened to the needs of the Caulfield Primary School community and are proud to announce this commitment.

Caulfield Primary School has been constantly overlooked by Daniel Andrews and only a Liberal Nationals Government will deliver this much needed funding.”

Comments attributable to Member for Caulfield, David Southwick:

“This funding will ensure Caulfield Primary School has the facilities it deserves and will be able to grow its unique and successful bi-lingual educational program.

Only a Matthew Guy led Government will back Caulfield’s local schools and deliver these upgrades for Caulfield Primary School.”

Comments attributable to Caulfield Primary School Council President, Kara Lowe:

“This funding will deliver much need facility upgrades here at Caulfield Primary, ensuring our rapidly growing school and its staff can continue to focus on delivering excellent education outcomes for all students.”
