Liberals to invest in classrooms of the future in Sunbury

The Liberal Nationals are committed to investing in education in Victoria.

That’s why an elected Liberal Nationals government will provide new STEM learning tools for Sunbury West Primary School and as well a new synthetic running track and shade sails .

The new synthetic running track and shade sails will allow students to get outside regardless of the weather and stay active.

Out of control population growth in Sunbury is placing enormous pressure on our schools.

Labor has been in government in Victoria for 15 of the last 19 years, and has failed to provide for the school’s needs.

By investing in upgrades at Sunbury West Primary School, locals can start to get some relief from the population squeeze.

Sunbury West Primary School continues to provide a first class education for local students, but it needs new resources so that it can continue to prepare students for the jobs of the future.

Only a Liberal Nationals government will give the students and techers at Sunbury West what they require to improve student outcomes.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:

“Now more than ever, it is crucial that we are at the forefront of funding STEM education.

These new resources will give local students a 21st century education in subjects such as science, maths and technology. These subjects are crucial for preparing students for Australia’s future knowledge based economy.

Only a Liberal Nationals Government will replace the running track which has been ignored by Daniel Andrews and his so called ‘education state’.”

Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Sunbury, Cassandra Marr:

The new track will get kids moving and give them a place to run regardless of the weather.

The school has a strong focus on maths and science and will benefit from the new STEM resources.”
