Luke Donnellan more worried about Fitzroy than Narre Warren North
Luke Donnellan, the Member for Narre Warren North, should declare a conflict of interest on recommendations made by Infrastructure Victoria that affect his home suburb of Fitzroy.
It would come as no surprise to learn that Luke Donnellan supports a congestion tax that might keep traffic out of his trendy inner suburban Fitzroy street. But his constituents who live 40 kilometres away in Narre Warren North are likely to have different views as they are the ones who will have to pay for it.
Traffic congestion and surging rates of violent crime are some of the struggles that Luke Donnellan’s constituents face in Narre Warren North. If Luke Donnellan lived there, he might understand that too.
