Energy security falters under Daniel Andrews
A report released today by the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) confirms Victoria’s energy security and reliability are under threat by Daniel Andrews.
The AEMC identifies energy system management as “becoming more challenging” due to Labor’s ideological energy policies.
By forcing the closure of Hazelwood and removing 22% of Victoria’s baseload power supply, the safe and secure operation of our energy networks has been jeopardised.
Under Daniel Andrews, Victorian households and businesses continue to suffer from falling energy reliability and skyrocketing prices.
Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources, David Southwick MP:
“Victorians are sick of relying on other states to bail us out as Daniel Andrews has failed to end our energy crisis.
“Labor has no plan to ensure a reliable and secure energy supply for Victorians.”
