Storages hit 70p.c. and confirm Dan’s desal disaster

Melbourne’s water storages have hit 70 per cent today, but Melbourne households will still have to pay for Daniel Andrews’ wasteful $27 million desal water order.

Quotes attributable to Peter Walsh, Shadow Minister for Water

“Today Daniel Andrews has shown he doesn’t care that he’s forcing up water bills and making life harder for Melbourne families. He just wants to justify Labor’s oversized desal plant.”

“The Liberal-Nationals know that the increasing cost of living is putting pressure on families, but Daniel Andrews is choosing politics over people.

“Under the last Labor government Melbourne water bills more than doubled and they’re going to go up again now Daniel Andrews is switching on the desal plant.”
