Daniel Andrews protects rorting Ministers
This afternoon the Greens voted with Daniel Andrews’ Labor Party to protect and support the six Ministers named in the Ombudsman’s Red Shirt rorts inquiry, currently subject to an active investigation by Victoria Police’s Fraud and Extortion Squad.
The Liberal Nationals motion in the Legislative Council called on the Premier to stand down the ‘Spring Street Six’ from their Ministerial positions pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
By choosing to vote with the Labor Party, the Greens supported the actions of the Ministers and gave them another lifeline.
If running a protection racket for Ministers is what the Greens bring to the Coalition table, no wonder the Labor Party is cosying up to them.
This election is one of two choices, a stable Liberal Nationals Coalition or a coalition of chaos, extremism and rorters from Labor and the Greens.
